At WWDC21, Apple opened the Screen Time API for the iOS platform, until then only internal. Secure access to device usage data enabled the development of many new applications, including StudyTime. We have been in charge of the project technically since the initial POC, which we have gradually expanded into a full-fledged application. Complex business logic is hidden under the surface of a seemingly simple application, including real-time synchronization between devices using the MongoDB Realm cloud database.
